Dr. Hayley Salem
PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
I grew up moving around a lot and playing sports, which resulted in various injuries I needed to rehab from. Which inspired me to go to undergrad in Colorado at UCCS where I ran track and cross country and graduated with a BS in Health Care Science. I then went to George Washington University for Physical Therapy school and graduated in 2020 with my doctorate.
I have always done athletics and been interested in rehabbing orthopedic injuries, I am currently pursuing my Orthopedic Clinical Specialist credential and have taken many continuing education courses on treating pediatric athletes, runners, etc.
My core values are: I believe in lifelong learning and a growth mindset, there is always more you can learn from others or from experiences. My family, friends, and patients are incredibly important to me and I try my best to show my love and compassion for them in my actions and my work.
“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference” – Winston Churchill
I work as a physical therapist and treat a variety of patients including pediatric, geriatric, and post-op orthopedic cases. Something that patients have to deal with that I want to fix is the gaps in knowledge and misinformation about their diagnosis/condition/ prognosis. I think education is key to a patient understanding how we can help them and how they can help themselves restore function.
Conditions I enjoy treating are sports injuries, post-op lower extremity patients, and anything spine-related.
I really enjoy our team here at Pinnacle Physical Therapy and Personal Training! Everyone likes coming to work and the environment is very positive and team-oriented.
